Prof. Chikara Sasaki is teaching history of mathematics at the University of Tokyo. He studied mathematics in Japan and specialized in the history of mathematics at Princeton University under Thomas S. Kuhn. He received his Ph.D from Princeton on Descartes's Mathematical Thought. A revised version of his thesis was published by Kluwer Academic Publishers in 2003.
