The aim of this project is first to study in depth and extend some modules indispensable for the development of adequate dialogue models. First, these modules can be used for building one or more dialogue models of cooperative interaction, e.g. a model for problem solving (both in everyday as in scientific contexts) through dialogue. Later, these models can be modified to cope with non-cooperative, competitive dialogues, that occur, for instance, in legal and also in scientific contexts.
