Placement Record

We only list those fellows who secured a permanent position while working at the CLPS:

  • Tim De Mey obtained his Ph.D. at the centre in 2003. He was postdoctoral researcher at the centre till 2006, when he became lecturer at Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam.
  • Maarten Van Dyck obtained his Ph.D. at the centre in 2006. He was postdoctoral researcher at the centre till 2009, when he became lecturer at our own university. In 2014 he was promoted to senior lecturer.
  • Steffen Ducheyne obtained his Ph.D. at the centre in 2006. He was postdoctoral researcher at the centre till 2011, when he became lecturer at Vrije Universiteit Brussel. His appointment being sponsored by the research council of that university, he has limited teaching duties and more research time the first 10 years.
  • Giuseppe Primiero obtained his Ph.D. at the university of Palermo in 2006. He was postdoctoral researcher at the centre from 2007 till 2013. He became lecturer at Middlesex University (London) in 2013 and was promoted to senior lecturer in 2014.
  • Liesbeth De Mol obtained her Ph.D. at the centre in 2007. She was postdoctoral researcher at the centre till 2013, when she obtained a permanent research position (chargée de recherche CNRS) at Université de Lille 3.
  • Bert Leuridan obtained his Ph.D. at the centre in 2008. He was postdoctoral researcher at the centre till 2014, when he became lecturer at Univeristeit Antwerpen.
  • Peter Verdée obtained his Ph.D. at the centre in 2008. He was postdoctoral researcher at the centre till 2014, when he became lecturer at Université Catholique de Louvain.
  • Christian Stasser obtained his Ph.D. at the centre in 2011. He was postdoctoral researcher at the centre till 2014, when he won the Sofja Kovalevskaja Award of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. As a result he is now junior professor at Ruhr-Universität Bochum. The Humboldt grant allows him to form a research team (2014-2019).
